Frequently Asked Questions

KF-STRIDE stands for Kessler Foundation Strength Identification and Expression. It is a job interview training tool developed to help prepare people for the job interview. It helps people to understand what is unique and special about them, and then how to relate that information to an employer.

KF-STRIDE was created by Dr. Helen Genova and her team at the Kessler Foundation using well-studied principles of psychology.

It is 10 lessons long, and we try to space them out over 5 weeks. Each lesson should take less than an hour. On this demo page, you can take a look at a few lessons to see how they look.

We know that some individuals have difficulty on job interviews. Some people are shy, or have social anxiety and just need a little practice. Some people may have autism or some disability that makes social communication a little challenging. KF-STRIDE is meant to help people learn what to say (and what not to say!) on job interviews so they don’t have to feel intimidated.

We help each student discover their unique strengths. We help them identify what unique strengths they have, and which ones to discuss with a future employer. The strengths we teach are valuable to employers.

Right now, if you qualify for one of our research studies, you can get the training for free (AND you get compensated for your time!). Contact us at autismresearch@kesslerfoundation.org to see if you qualify.

We are examining whether KF-STRIDE helps people on the autism spectrum. If you or a friend/family member would like to learn how to participate, contact us at autismresearch@kesslerfoundation.org
